WHAT IS THIS?

This site is a basic tutorial on how to build a web page from scratch. It discusses the basics of design, how to cut the site out from Photoshop, and then how to code it with CSS and HTML. So go ahead, take a look at the tutorials, and let me know what you think of all the madness.

BEGINNERS

This won't get into the mud and guts of web design. It'll just give a good overview. I'll put links to sites I recommend for different information as I go along, and possibly someday it will be more comprehensive. But for now it just has the basics.

That being said, this gives you enough information to be able to learn everything else on your own. The great thing about the web these days is that everything is online. As long as you have an idea of where to look, you'll be able to find everything you need to know. I'll be giving you the start you need to get everything else going.

HELP PLANNING SITES

If you want a site for your business/self/etc this should give you a good understanding of how to organize the information, even if you're going to hire someone else to build it. Any time you want a site built you should have the information and ideas behind your site planned out. That way you don't have to pay someone to work through the details with you later.
